Introduction

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Motion Bible (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Motion Bible provides:

  • Bible reading with multiple translations
  • AI-powered image and video generation based on scripture
  • Personal notes, highlights, and annotations
  • Reading plans and progress tracking
  • Kid-Friendly Mode for family use

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Be at least 13 years old (or have parental consent)

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Prices may change with notice

Cancellation

  • Cancel your subscription at any time through your device settings or account
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are handled by Apple, Google, or Stripe according to their policies

Refunds and Credit Adjustments

  • If a refund is granted for a subscription period, any credits received during that billing cycle will be deducted from your account
  • Your credit balance may become negative after a refund, if you used any of the credits given, which will prevent further content generation until additional credits are obtained
  • If you resubscribe after a refund, new credits will first offset any negative balance

Consent to Share Consumption Data with Apple

By using the App and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing of data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple as part of our efforts to resolve refund requests. This information may include details about how you have accessed and interacted with purchased content, your account tenure, and purchase history. The purpose of sharing this data is to help Apple make an informed decision regarding refund requests. We ensure that such data sharing is done in compliance with Apple's policies and only as necessary to process your requests.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (notes, annotations, custom prompts). By using the App, you grant us a license to store and display your content to you.

AI-Generated Content

  • AI-generated images and videos are for personal use
  • You may share AI-generated content on social media with attribution
  • Commercial use requires a Pro subscription
  • AI-generated content may not be used for illegal purposes

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Generate harmful, threatening, abusive, or hateful content
  • Attempt to bypass content filters or safety features
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Create sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory content

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design and features, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Bible translations are used under license or are in the public domain.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate
  • The App will meet your specific requirements

The App provides tools for Bible study but does not provide theological advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

10. Termination

  • You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations
  • Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
